OPEN DOOR LAW NOTICE:
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
SPRINGS VALLEY SCHOOL BUILDING CORPORATION
The Board of Directors of the Springs Valley School Building Corporation (the
“Corporation”) will meet for a special meeting on August 24, 2026, at 5:45 p.m., local time, in the
Auditorium of the Springs Valley Junior-Senior High School, which is located at 326 South Larry
Bird Boulevard, French Lick, Indiana.
The purpose of said meeting is to consider (i) approving amendments to the resolution
adopted by the Board of Directors of the Corporation to provide for (a) an increase in the original
aggregate principal amount of the Corporation’s Ad Valorem Property Tax First Mortgage Bonds
to be issued to provide funds for the 2024/2025 High School Gymnasium Transformation Project
and (b) the designation of such bonds to be the Springs Valley School Building Corporation Ad
Valorem Property Tax First Mortgage Bonds, Series 2026, and (ii) conducting any and all other
business as may properly come before said meeting. A copy of all of the documents which will
be considered by the Corporation is available at the Superintendent’s Office of the Springs Valley
Community School Corporation.

Fine Arts Night is tonight, March 26, from 5:30-8:30pm in the auditorium, PE complex, pool hallway, and junior high atrium. This is a free event for everyone to showcase Springs Valley's excellent fine arts students.

Springs Valley Community Schools will conduct a public hearing Monday, August 25, 2025 on the year 2026 budget. The Springs Valley Middle and High School will be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair from November 15-22. Students in grade 6-12 will be able to visit the fair during school hours.
